He may be known for his World Championships or even his AMA National titles. There is no question as to John Kocinski’s ability on a motorcycle. But one thing holds true about John: He expects perfection. And why not? Even if a motorcycle factory isn’t involved or footing the bill, Kocinski wants the best!
A few years back, he decided to return to his early roots of dirt-track racing and built some Rotax flat trackers. They were the talk of the dirt-track world. For his next project, Kocinski built a Knight-framed 250cc air-cooled CR Honda 250. Today’s Cycle Coverage caught up with Kocinski at Perris Raceway, site of the first round of Southern California Flat Track Association action, where he graciously allowed us to photograph his latest work of art. Notice his attention to detail; nothing has been overlooked.
Once a champion, always a champion – it’s a mindset thing! Hats off to John Kocinski!
