In just four days, some of the world’s fastest off-road motorcycle and ATV racers will compete in the 26th annual “Virgin Voyage!” Join us this weekend at the Johnson Valley OHV, Southern California’s premier off-road mecca for round four of the AMA/ Kenda National Hare and Hound Championship Series, hosted by District 37’s Vikings Motorcycle Club.

The racers will trek through more than 80 miles of the roughest terrain in the western desert, testing man and machine. The Vikings have been working for many months to bring everyone another awesome event. The race will take place north of Soggy Dry Lake, off of Bessemer Mine Road. Follow the race arrows through Lucerne Valley on Highway 247 to the race site.
Sign-ups are open from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and again on Sunday morning from 6 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. The bomb run and start practice is on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 6 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. The banner will drop at 9 a.m.!
Come out and join in the fun, as there are classes for all skill levels and ages, for men and women on bikes and ATVs.
Join us on pit row throughout the weekend with many of our series sponsors, including Cole Townsend from Fasst Co., who will be on hand for demos of Fasst’s exclusive Flexx Bars. Also on hand will be Travis “Tuner” Flateau. Tuner will be on pit row throughout the weekend for any bike prep and/or suspension service you may need. Look for the TBT box van.
Every racer will receive a $10 gift card from Rocky Mountain ATV/MC (after the race) just for entering. There will be many contingency give-aways throughout the weekend from several of our series sponsors, as there are at each and every round.
We’d like to thank our sponsors, many of whom will be present throughout the weekend: Kenda, FMF, Purvines Racing, GPR, Bullet Proof Designs, TBT Suspension, Alpinestars, BRP, Dirt Tricks, Fasst Co., Fastway/ PMB, FPS Racing, IMS, Leatt, No Toil, RB Components, Rekluse, Rocky Mountain ATV/ MC, Works Connection and ZLT! Also, there are contingencies from KTM and Honda.
On Saturday evening, join us on pit row to hear live music from ’80s rockers “Sunset Teaze.”
We’d like to say “thank you” to the Vikings MC for months of hard work and race prep. These volunteers work endlessly to bring you premier events with club mates, family members and friends.
So far in this exciting season, the battles continue on in all of the 26 National classes. Since implementing the scoring system known as Moto-Tally, the riders can see their results one to two days after they cross the finish line. This system also shows the finish times and how long each racer is out on the course. It’s a great system and has been working very well for the NHHA group and for the National Hare and Hound Series.
