Kawasaki opened the series with a win by Colton Haaker, and then KTM struck back with wins by Taddy Blazusiak and Mike Brown to take the lead in the 2012 GEICO EnduroCross Manufacturers Championship. The top two finishers on each brand accumulate points toward the championship, and KTM currently holds a slight advantage. Husqvarna has clawed its way to third in the chase, just ahead of Honda and Beta.

Taddy Blazusiak (111) tackles the rocks at the Sacramento round on his KTM – the marque that currently leads the points race in the GEICO EnduroCross Manufacturers Championship in the tight battle to be the top motorcycle brand.
The 2012 GEICO AMA EnduroCross series, presented by Lucas Oil, is currently on a summer break and will resume on September 15 inside the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California.
