With the largest payout in Pro purses and Dashes For Cash ever offered at Mulder’s WCDTS, the weekend Championships at Willow Springs’ three-eighths-mile track will be the place to be on October 4 and 5!

Then the Flat Track Finals in Pomona will round out the swing on Saturday, October 11.

“We are really excited to be able to offer so much purse money to these professional young men and women, especially since they will all be over here on the West Coast for the last two Grand Nationals,” Mulder exclaimed. “If the racers play their cards right and are able to stay for all three weekends, they could be sitting pretty, moneywise, for next year. Plus, fans get to partake in three great California race weekends on big, fun, fast tracks. Pure excitement and dirt-track racing at it’s best! No one should miss it!”

The money of which Mulder is speaking will come from sponsorships from the Zimmermans of Specialty Fabrications Inc.; they are jacking up their previous Dash For Cashes payouts from $7,500 to $10,000 for Saturday’s race and to $15,000 for Sunday’s series championship dash. Only the fastest Pros will be battling for that cache. Payouts in the Digger Pro mains will also rise, thanks to our longtime generous sponsor of this class, Digger Helm Racing, and a gracious bump of $5,000 to Sunday’s Pro Championship, courtesy of Terry Otton of Ramspur Winery. Otton has also contributed a $7,500 WCDTS Pro Point Fund for the top three 2014 series Pro points scorers.

Ramspur Winery will be one of the hosts at the legendary Calistoga Half Mile, which plans to include a whole weekend in the beautiful Napa Valley of Northern California, the National on Saturday night, with a Vintage Bike Show, and a Sunday ride to the winery. Mulder will have the honor of serving as Grand Marshal of the event.

The Willow weekend is a two-day event, with races on both Saturday and Sunday starting at 12 noon. Sunday will be the thriller, as it is the WCDTS Championship round, with double-points payout and all that added money. Both days will also feature complete race programs, including Vintage, Youth and modern support classes. Riders of all ages and abilities will run with our own outlaw Pro National.
