The 2014 motorcycle speedway season at Industry Racing continues tonight, just one week after the facility observed the Independence Day holiday. The sixth night of action this summer will not only feature the return of the “Battle of the Billys” between Janniro and Hamill, but also “Haddick’s Classic Car Night!”

As always, adult general admission is just $10, while kids and seniors can get in for only $5!

More than 25 classic cars built before 1976 will be on display in the courtyard of the Grand Arena as part of a “best in show” competition. Well-known reality star Barry Weiss from “Storage Wars” and “Barry’d Treasure” is sure to be a part of the festivities, as the longtime speedway-racing fan is known for his own eclectic collection of classic vehicles. You never know what he’ll choose to drive to the races, but it’s sure to be a head-turner!

On the track inside The Grand Arena, First Division and Sidecar Division competition will highlight the racing at the only fully AMA-sanctioned track in Southern California.

After missing the previous week of First Division competition, both Billy “The Kid” Janniro and Billy “The Bullet” Hamill will be back to continue their longstanding rivalry. Janniro is undefeated thus far at Industry Racing in three attempts, while Hamill also has a win to his credit. Don’t count out Charlie “The Edge” Venegas, either: He emerged victorious the last time out, on June 25.

In the Sidecar Division, the duo of Chris Jones & Joe Glover saw their dominance come to an end at the hands of Dual Anderson & Robert Dent. The number-one team will surely want to return to favor and get back on top of the podium.

Additionally, the action-packed lineup at Industry Racing on Wednesday night will feature Second and Third Division competition, as well as the captivating Juniors’ battles in the 250cc Division, the Mini 150 First and Second Divisions, and the Pee Wee Division. Each of these classes has been unpredictable up to this point this season, but stalwarts such as Dillon Ruml (in the Junior 250cc Division) and Travis Horn (in the Pee Wee Division) have proved to be the most formidable riders in their respective divisions week in and week out.

As an added bonus, there will be T-shirt give-aways for the fans in attendance, along with raffles for two Hooters wing parties, in addition to the “Expo Weekly Raffle.” Track sponsor Bert’s Mega Mall will also have a vendor booth, giving away some swag and showcasing everything it has to offer at its gigantic dealership in Covina. Bert’s is also hosting its very own “Rock & Ride” event on Wednesday night with a free barbecue at the dealership and free tickets to tonight’s action!
