Round two of M2X Racing’s Full Throttle Motocross Series played out under pristine conditions at the A.V. Motoplex Ride Park, where Honda-mounted Tanner Scogin went 1-1 for the Big Bike Open-class victory.

Scogin made his intensions clear as he bolted out to an immediate lead when the gate dropped for first-moto action. Derrick Hernandez had his YZ450F running in second place, and he had closed to the back fender of Scogin by the completion of lap one.

Hernandez was applying some serious pressure in an attempt to take over the top spot, but Scogin wouldn’t have any of it, as he protected the inside lines and kept Hernandez at bay at the way up to the checkers for the well-deserved first-moto win.

Kaden Lehne, Tyler Walent and Justin Carbajal literally fought over third place for the entire moto, with Lehne coming out on top by the slimmest of margins in the end. Walent finished just ahead of Carbajal.

Tanner Sawyer (323) ran off with both 450cc Pro moto wins.

Moto two was a duplicate of the first, as Scogin grabbed the early lead, with Hernandez camped out on his back fender. Hernandez stayed within striking distance for the first couple of circuits before Scogin slowly inched away to go 1-1 on the day. Another good battle for third place went down to the wire again, with Walent holding off Lehne to earn third overall on his 4-3 effort.

Timothy Lee (431) went 3-4 for third overall in the 450cc Novice field.

Ryan Schiesser and Ryley Jackson mixed it up over the runner-up position in both races, with Schiesser prevailing both times out. Vincent Ramos Jr. (4-4) and Noah Redd (5-5) earned fourth and fifth, overall respectively.
