Just wanted to say “Thanks!” to everyone for helping to make the races happen last night! It was some of the best weather we have had out there all year – and the best racing, too!

The next race is on a Saturday night, September 6, on the TT track, and it’s Military Appreciation Night – which means free admission for members of the military. Hope to see ya there!

Below is some additional flat-track info for Bellingham and Skagit Raceway over on the coast, if you are looking for something to do in the near future. Denise Holt is the person to contact for more info on these races below, at denise@mrmi.com or 425/785-7702.

Bellingham
The Bellingham race is Harley Night, on Saturday, August 16. This is a big annual event at Bellingham, and the weather on Saturday is going to be perfect for racing and we are expecting a big crowd, as usual. We will have lots of exciting racing going on – motorcycles, quads, karts, Mini Sprints – all on the quarter-mile oval, and then we’ve got motorcycles and quads on the Super TT.

Don’t forget “Fast Freddie’s Beer Garden” – lots of ice-cold beer! Mount Baker’s M/C concessions features outstanding burgers and fries and all kinds of goodies! And, of course, there’s Bouncin’ Bob, our starter!

Plus, we’ve got Kelly Bell organizing the Custom Harley Bike Show (Show ’n’ Shine), which is always a big hit. And don’t forget the Voice of Vince, the announcer.

There will be a couple of give-aways at half time, and it has been confirmed that former World Champion Steve Baker will be racing!

Sign-up opens at 3 p.m., with practice beginning at 5:30 and racing commencing at 7 p.m. Bring your friends! We’re going to have a great time!

For more information, contact Denise Holt at denise@mrmi.com or 425/785-7702.

Skagit Raceway
At Skagit Raceway on Saturday, September 6, we are adding a class this year to the program. Right now it will be a combined 65/85cc class (or, if we have enough of each bike, we can split it up). We will score the bikes separately even they run combined. I would appreciate a reply e-mail letting me know if you can attend on Saturday, September 6, at Skagit Speedway.

This race is sponsored by Skagit Speedway and BBRP (Brian Billings Racing Products), and it is only held once a year. Please get the word out to your friends.

Again, for more information, contact Denise Holt at denise@mrmi.com or 425/785-7702.
