National Motocross rolled into the Hoosier State for the first time in a long while. It last visited Indiana back in 1973, when a round of the Inter-Am Series came to Washington, Indiana. Most people would think that a track in central Indiana would be fairly flat, but the terrain at Crawfordsville – which has been hosting GNCC cross-country races since 1995, attracting some of the largest crowds on the circuit – has very steep hills. The track has a huge uphill, along with a triple uphill similar to LaRocco’s Leap at RedBud. But after heavy rains the morning of the race, there would be no big leaps.

Ken Roczen took the holeshot in the first 450cc moto and pulled away for the win. He then finished second to Trey Canard in the second moto for the overall victory.

Marvin Musquin took the victory in the 250cc class with a third in moto one and a win in moto two. Jeremy Martin was able to secure the Championship with a second-place finish in moto one.

Here are some photographic highlights from the event. Results follow the photos.
