Spectators found it a challenge to park at Glen Helen, as there were two events going on this day. On the National track, the Dubya World Veteran Championship brought in racers from around the world. It was also a special day for Chuck “Feets” Minert, who was the recipient of the 2014 Edison Dye Lifetime Motocross Achievement Award. That presentation took place in the Glen Helen Museum, which was given a whole new interior look with Inter-Am photographic posters by Team Swolen.

Then, on the REM track, the CALVMX hosted its Vintage Motocross event, along with a special So Cal MX Legends Tribute. A long line of local heroes were present to sign the souvenir poster for all entrants.

Here are some photographic highlights of the event…

These clouds were touching the Glen Helen hillside sign. Fortunately, the clouds with the rain in them had already poured down the day before the event and watered the track.
