Riverside Poly High School in California is linking motocross with science and math. As you can guess, they have no shortage of participants or volunteers, even though they don’t get any points or extra credit.

The program was conceived by Principal Michael Roe, and it gives students conceptual and hands-on experience in the sport’s scientific track design and construction. Roger DeCoster was a recent observer and honored guest.
