AHRMA Southwest is proud to announce two new team members to the Southwest Regional Management Group. As longtime AHRMA members and supporters of the Vintage Racing community, it just seemed natural to bring them on board. Welcome aboard, Robin Lee of Hesperia, California, and Richard Meyers of Joshua Tree, California. We are very happy to have you both on our team.

Robin Lee was introduced to motorcycling while out camping with family at the age of 9. Her father would take the kids out trail-riding while on these trips, which quickly grew into a passion for Ms. Lee, who followed in her father’s footsteps on that Honda Trail 90. Eight years later, and with some encouragement from a neighborhood friend’s dad, she raced her first race, a TT scrambles, on a Suzuki TS 90 – and she hasn’t stopped since.

“Robin’s knowledge of motorcycles and having promoted an AHRMA National in the past, along with her passion for the sport, is an asset to the team,” said Tami Greenhill, one of the two AHRMA Southwest Regional coordinators for AHRMA. “We are thrilled she’s taken on the responsibilities of volunteer ‘Technical Consultant’ for the region.”

Richard Myers has been a longtime AHRMA member, supporter and motorcycle competitor throughout his racing career. His wisdom and knowledge of the older, classic machines is priceless. With visibility being a high priority in educating the public as to what Vintage competition is all about, Mr. Myers has graciously accepted a new voluntary position in public relations to help create a positive image of racing and the Vintage community as a whole.

“We are honored to have Richard on board – his wisdom and enthusiasm for classic vintage machines and the tracks they race on is pivotal to the success of our sport,” concluded AHRMA Southwest Regional coordinator Rolf Greenhill.
