Walter “Walt” Faulk was the chief technician, tuner and owner of the bike that Cal Rayborn rode to victories in the 1972 Trans-Atlantic Match races. He was a mechanic in Daytona until he was eventually hired by Harley’s racing department.

Faulk later recommended a young Bill Werner to HD’s racing chief, Dick O’Brien.

Faulk passed away on March 22, 2015, at the age of 76. Walt truly made his mark in racing history.
