Thirty-five years ago this month, the multiple-award-winning documentary Take It to the Limit premiered in Daytona, Florida.

On April 9, 2015, Forest and Ocean Gallery in Laguna Beach, California, invites you to see three of the most famous bikes in the world:

Kenny Roberts’ four-cylinder dirt-tracker, the actual bike that won the 1975 Indy Mile and let to the now-famous phrase, “They don’t pay me enough to ride this thing!” as featured in exclusive footage in the film Take It to the Limit.

Steve Baker’s OW31, similar to the one on which he won the Race of the Year, as featured in this film, and his 1977 World Championship.

Barry Sheene’s F750, similar to the one featured in this movie, which took Barry to several major European championships.

Starting at 6 p.m. on April 9, there will be a reception that will be attended by music legend Arlo Guthrie; Peter Starr, the film’s producer; some of the racing stars and the film’s crew members; and many people from the motorcycle industry. The bikes mentioned above will be on display, along with a collection of photographic art from the film Take It to the Limit.

The exhibit will run through Sunday, April 12, but come join us for the reception on April 9 – it will be an evening to remember
