Attention, all early comers!

Gates will open at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 17. Sorry, but as in the past, camping is not allowed, though you can park your race hauler in the pits overnight. Can’t wait to see all of you!

Saturday, April 18, will be round two of the Southern California Flat Track Association Championship Series. Gates will open at noon. Practice will start at 3:30 p.m., with racing to follow.

Round three of the SCFTA series will be held on Sunday, April 19. Gates will open at 8 a.m. Practice will commence at 10 a.m., with racing to follow.

Make it your weekend’s destination! There are lots of great roads on the way from just about anywhere.

It’s going to be crowded, so please pit close together – get to know your neighbor! If you’re not directly involved (i.e., hauling a bike or equipment), please use the available parking across the street.

Remember, helmets are required when riding in the pits. With the crowded situation, please keep pit-riding to a minimum; your racer should be ready before you get to the track!

Speaking of riding in the pits, please be aware that there are children and pets all over. By the way, pets should be on a leash. Kids: If you’re riding bicycles or scooters, wear a helmet and keep your speed down!

Coolers are welcome; glass containers are frowned upon.

I’ve neglected one of our newest sponsors, Deus Ex Machina. Julian and crew are always dragging something (or someone!) different to the track.

Photos and results from round one from Jamey and Janice can be found at VFT.

Rumor has it the speedway sidecars will be in attendance this weekend!

Congratulations to SCFTA racer Josh Hayes, who started the season with a win and a runner-up spot at the opening round of the MotoAmerica Superbike Series!
