Tim Hart was a gentle man that turned into a maniac on the track. He was a real sweetheart, someone we were all proud to know.

Tim Hart.

Tim Hart.

[A recent] article on him was great and well deserved, but it didn’t cover one of Tim’s greatest racing achievements. Somehow he decided to try his hand at Sprint Car racing. Sprint Cars are by far the fastest, most dangerous and most difficult-to-control dirt cars to have ever been raced at Ascot. Tim was an expert at it, and he won many Sprint Car races on that lightning-fast, tacky half-mile clay oval. What a guy!

R.I.P., my friend.
