Here are some of the events happening this weekend in California… and beyond!

AMSOIL Arenacross Series
The next round of the AMSOIL Arenacross Series will be held at the Livestock Events Center in Reno, Nevada, Oregon, March 24 through 26. For more information, please go to www.arenacross.com.

BSA Bike Show and Swap Meet
The NorCal BSA Bike Show and Swap Meet will be held this weekend at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds in San Jose, California. Eddie Mulder is going to have a display of the bikes he built. There will be 12 bikes from “Mulder’s Mafia” competing for special trophies. This should be a nice addition to the already excellent show.

Long Beach Motorcycle Swap Meet
Sunday, March 26, will be the Long Beach Motorcycle Swap Meet in Long Beach in Southern California. For more information, please go to www.socalcycleswapmeet.com.

Tough Mudder
The Tough Mudder will be held on Saturday, March 25, and Sunday, March 26, at Glen Helen Raceway.

SCFTA Southern California Flat Track Association
There will be an SCFTA Practice session on Saturday, March 25, from 2 to 7 p.m. at Perris Raceway. Round three of the Championship Series will be held on Saturday, April 8. For more information, please go to www.southerncaliforniaflattrack.com or socalflattrack@aol.com or call 951/443-7622.

SoCal Norton Ride
It is off to Death Valley on Saturday, March 25, for a SoCal Norton Ride! This is a three-day event; the ride will return on Monday, March 27. Meet on Saturday morning at Crazy Otto’s, located at 1228 W. Avenue I in Lancaster, California. The ride will depart at 9 a.m. sharp. The Atomic Inn in Beatty, Nevada, is the club’s headquarters and hotel of choice, and that’s where participants will be staying Saturday and Sunday night; however, feel free to stay anywhere you like in the area. Ride maps will be posted soon. If you are not a SoCal Norton Club member, please contact them before going on a ride in case it is a member-only ride. American Flat Track Opener
On Saturday, March 25, the Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia, will host the first AFT Short Track event of the season. Also on the menu is the second round of the Super Hooligan National Championship Series. (See below.) And to make it even sweeter, there will be a Vintage Flat Trackers’ Reunion. (See further below.) Super Hooligan National Championship Series
Roland Sands Designs is behind the Super Hooligan National Championship Series, which features street bikes flat-track racing on dirt and concrete. Most of the series’ rounds will be run in conjunction with other events. The third round of the series will be on March 25 in Woodstock, Georgia. The fourth round will be held on April 22 at the Hippy Killer Hoedown in Perris, California. The prize for winning the series is a FTR 750 Factory Indian Scout, GNC race-ready! Georgia AMA Grand National Short Track and Vintage Flat Trackers Reunion
This race and reunion will be held on March 25 in Woodstock, Georgia, at the three-eighths-mile Dixie Speedway, near Atlanta. There will be a vintage dirt-track bike display, and the AMA has discounted the price of the tickets to all reunion attendees; it was $30, with the discount it’s $20. Morning After Ride
While you are in San Jose for the BSA Bike Show and Swap Meet (see above), you might want to consider joining in the “Morning After Ride” on Sunday, March 26. This is an all-British event, with many British clubs and volunteers taking part. This year it celebrates Pre-War motorcycles. Don’t miss the raffle: A dollar per ticket gives you a chance at winning a British motorcycle! Check it out at www.bsaocnc.org.

Breakfast Club Cruise In
On Sunday, March 26, members of the Petersen Automotive Museum, located at 6060 Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles, will get early access to the museum from 9 to 10 a.m. Join and get early access, comp parking, coffee and bagels!
