Here are some of the events happening this weekend in California… and beyond!

Glen Helen Raceway
This Saturday, April 8, there will be an REM MX event and an MX practice.

On Sunday, April 9, there will be So Cal AMA MX and ARX action on the Glen Helen back track.

The third round of the Southern California Flat Track Association Championship Series will be held on Saturday, April 8. The gates will open at 12:30 p.m. and practice will start at 3:30, followed by racing.

Be sure to check before loading up. The weather forecast for this weekend is iffy.

Be prepared for sound testing before practice. The required sound level is 98 dB.

No one should enter the track before 12:30 except track workers. Spectators, please park across the street in the overflow lot.

AHRMA Vintage Racing and Trials
April 8 will be round three of Observed Trials at Burrows Ranch, which is located just north of Chrome, California, on Road 306.

April 9 will be round four of Vintage MX action, also at Burrows Ranch near Chrome, California.

Monster Energy Supercross Series
This series moves fast as it bounces around its many venues from January through May. On April 8, round 14 will be held in Seattle, Washington. Round 15 will take place on April 22 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The final race, round 17, will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada.

BSA Owners Club of Southern California
Sunday, April 9, will be the Paul Elmore Memorial Inland Empire Street Ride. It will start at the South Temecula-area Walmart, located at 32225 Temecula Parkway. Turn east off the I-15 on Temecula Parkway (Highway 79 south) and head to Walmart parking lot, near Apis Road and Highway 79 south. SoCal Old-Timers Motocross
This club is primarily for racers over the age of 40, but young racers are also welcome. SoCal Old Timers is a very friendly and family-oriented group. Their next event will be races at Sunrise MX Park in Adelanto, California, on April 9, with classes for Beginners through Masters.
