The 2017 AMA Kenda/ SRT National Hare and Hound Association Championship Series continues this weekend in Caliente, Nevada, with round seven, hosted by Silver State Trailblazers. Weeks of monsoon weather have soaked the region just in time for a racer-favorite event!

With the return of Nectar Sunglasses, riders who pre-enter by Thursday at midnight are automatically qualified to win a free pair! Winners will be announced throughout the weekend on the podium.

Epic racing conditions await you in Caliente!

The rain has been insane – just as planned by the club for this time of year. When it rains here, it’s dirt-bike perfection.

The weekend of fun will begin Friday evening with a free spaghetti dinner and autograph signing. This will all be happening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Caliente Fire Department. You will have the chance to meet many of the series’ top racers specifically from 6 to 7 p.m., including Taylor Robert, Gary Sutherlin, Nick Burson, Jacob Argubright, Kacy Martinez-Coy, Britney Gallegos and more!

Starting early Saturday morning, the nation’s best desert racers will line up on the Zip-Ty starting line. The points battles are getting extremely tight, and spectators will be able to enjoy some of the best off-road racing on the West Coast!

Tune in to our Facebook site to watch live (service permitting). Spectators can gather at the KTM finish line to watch as the West Coast’s fastest off-road riders take the checkered flag!

Temporary numbers are $10 for three pieces (front and sides).

Transponders are $5.

Pre-entry is open now! Skip the crazy long lines!

The Big Bike bomb practice is walk-only, from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday and 7 to 9 a.m. on Saturday.

No spectators, pit crews or mechanics will be allowed on the start, for safety reasons. (Train schedule.)

Riders will parade to the start, so be prepared.

There will be a speed limit at the end of loop one through town for 1.2 miles. Do not speed.

No bikes are allowed to ride from the pits and sign-ups on the highway. Street-legal vehicles only.

The NHHA is proud to introduce our partnership with Fasst Co. for the “Youth Hound Development Award,” which is meant to help groom the “hounds” of tomorrow by rewarding the first rider to catch the “hare” of each Youth race with a prize and offered contract of 50 percent off with Fasst Co. A Pro rider will be the featured hare, and you can catch all the action on Saturday starting with race one at 7 a.m.!
