Round 8: Sage Riders’ Sahara Hare Scrambles at the Little Sahara OHV

On Saturday, September 9, the 2017 AMA Kenda/ SRT West Hare Scrambles Series will welcome back racers from the summer break with the Sahara Hare Scrambles, hosted by the Sage Riders.

Pre-entry closes at midnight tonight, September 7.

With terrain that differs from that at the Northern California rounds, the sandy hills of the Little Sahara OHV will be awaiting racers of all classes for this one-day event! After the results from round seven, such as an impressive win from Beta rider Max Gerston, race fans are ready to get back into the swing of things with round eight!

On Friday night, sign-up will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday will start with sign-up from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will get under way Saturday morning with the Youth Series, which will begin at 7:30 a.m. with a mandatory riders’ meeting on the start line 15 minutes prior to the race. (This applies to all races).

Race one will be for the 50cc riders, who will race a 4-mile course.

Race two, for the Big Wheel and 85cc riders, will start at 8:30 a.m. They will race a 10-mile course.

Race three will begin at 10:30 am. The Pee Wee class will race a held-mile course.

The Women, Masters, 200cc and 250cc C, and Sportsman riders will take over for race four. They will race on a 15-mile course.

The peak of the day, the Pro race, will start at 2:30 p.m. They will race on a 20-mile course!

* Temporary numbers are $10 for three pieces (front and sides).
* Transponders are $5.
* Pre-enter now! Skip the crazy long lines!
* The first row of the Big Bike start is reserved for the top 10 overall riders.
