Get your room reservations in early; there may be a soccer tournament that weekend, and they take up lots of rooms. Reserve online at www.carson.doubletree.com or call 800/222-8733 or 310/830-9200. Group code is TMC. Online, enter dates of stay, click on “add special rate code” (TMC). Our rate is $145.00 for standard room. General Information
The banquet will once again be held at the Carson Civic Center, located at 3 Civic Plaza Drive in Carson, California 90745. The Tom Cates Memorial Bike Show and Reception doors will open at 3 p.m., and the banquet doors will open at 6 p.m.

Tickets are $75 per person, and a table for 10 is $750. That includes Trailblazers membership, admission to the Bike Show, the Reception, Dinner and the Awards Presentation.

Your prepaid ticket will be waiting at the door. No tickets will be sold at the banquet.

Online registration opens Tuesday, January 2, at 9 a.m. You can order online at www.trailblazersmc.com. Please have your credit card ready. If you are purchasing a table, or have invited a guest or guests, please have their names and contact information ready for the tickets, roster, newsletter and seating chart.

If ordering by mail, please make checks payable to “Trailblazers” c/o MIC INC., 2 Jenner, Suite 150, Irvine, California 92618. Registration by mail won’t be opened until Monday, January 2.

Do You Want to Sit with Your Friends?
For seating arrangements, please contact Mr. Bill Cooper after you have paid. He handles seating. He will add you and your guests to the seating chart and do his best to accommodate your seating preferences. Contact him at mrbill@vleinc.com or 818/896-2200. He will not hold a seat that isn’t paid for.

Do You Have a Bike to Display?
Those who wish to bring a motorcycle to display, please have it at the Carson Center between 1 and 2 o’clock. You must pick up your prepaid ticket (at the door) to the banquet before pushing your bike inside. All bikes must be in and parked before 3 p.m., which is when the show is open to the attendees. There will be security guards, but it is recommended to bring a lock and chain. A display card with the history of the motorcycle would be nice. The bikes will be judged for trophies.

Get There Early
Visiting with your friends and tire-kicking takes place between the time the doors open for the bike show at 3 p.m. and when the banquet doors open at 6 p.m. Once you go into the banquet area, there isn’t much chance to talk except in the buffet line – so get there early and enjoy the whole evening!

If you, or your guests, want to receive the newsletter or be reminded of the next banquet, make sure you include addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses.
